On Monday, June 23rd, our basketball showdown was one to remember! In a much loved end-of-year tradition, our staff took on the determined 6th class girls in a thrilling match at the Leisure Centre. The atmosphere was electric, with the entire school cheering passionately!
It was a close game, with the girls showcasing skill, determination, and teamwork. But in the end, the staff powered by experience (and a touch of caffeine!) claimed a narrow victory.
More than just a game, today was a celebration of the strong bond between pupils and staff in Bunscoil. It reminded us all of the importance of fun, friendship, and shared memories.
As we prepare to say goodbye to our fantastic 6th class girls, we thank them for the joy, laughter, and that unforgettable match. On leaving the court 5th class vowed to avenge the defeat of their 6th class buddies next year. Time will tell!!! .
