Caterpillars to Butterfly’s in Ms. Linehan’s Class
Recently, Ms. Linehan’s Senior Infants welcomed some very special visitors into their classroom ……. caterpillars!
The girls and boys had the exciting opportunity to observe them up close as they journeyed through each stage of the life cycle, from tiny caterpillars to chrysalides, and finally emerging as beautiful butterflies. What a lovely project !
Throughout their transformation, classes from across the school visited to witness the changes and share in the excitement. It was a wonderful, hands-on learning experience for everyone, sparking curiosity, conversation, and awe.
The project concluded with a joyful moment as the butterflies were released into the greenery of our school grounds. With great excitement, we watched them take flight, free to explore the big, wide world.
It was a magical to observe the growth, change, and the beauty of nature, and we’re so proud of Ms. Linehan’s class for caring for their caterpillars every step of the way.
