Green Schools SeaKeepers Project
In June 3rd Class have were announced as winners of a free beach exploration workshop hosted by Green Schools!
Five of our classes were involved in the Green Schools SeaKeepers Project. We all completed surveys back in November to identify different sea creatures. The class teachers then completed six special lessons about native Irish sea creatures and plants before repeating the survey this month. Well done and thanks to everyone that entered.
We were so very excited to be chosen out of all the entries nationally and we could not wait for our day out in Tramore before the summer holidays! Well done to Ms Hyland, Ms Cahill and our terrific third class.

tree ambassadors and their little trees
Did you know that Ireland is the least wooded country in Europe? Here at Bunscoil we are trying to change that by taking part in a tree planting initiative. Thank you to all families who put their names into the raffle for our collection of native trees. Here are some of the tree ambassadors and their little trees - we can't wait to see them in their new homes!
