Planting for the Future
In April our school community took part in a fantastic tree planting initiative, helping to make a positive impact on the environment.
A sincere thank you to Stephen Pendle for his generous donation of many, many trees. Families planted trees at home, promoting a greener, healthier environment beyond the school grounds. We were also delighted to keep some trees for the school, where they have now been carefully planted on site.
Special thanks to Ms. Hyland (Green School Co-Ordinator) and Ms Linehan and their Senior Infants class for their great work. From selecting the perfect spots to planting the trees with such care, their effort and enthusiasm made this project a success.
A big thank you as well to Billy for his help and support with the planting.
