Susan from Self Help Africa visited Mitchelstown Library to chat to Bunscoil na Toirbhirte 5th class.
Pupils took part in a workshop called 'How to survive a charging elephant' which prompted them to consider what life is like in rural Africa, with all the complex economic and environmental challenges, all the while living with the needs and wants of the iconic African elephant.
