Ms Woods and Mr Dinehan did exactly that..... they brought their favourite book characters to life and adding plenty of laughs to the day when they dressed up as Miss Trunchbull and Mr Bean on Thursday, 05.03.2026. A brilliant effort from !
Miss Trunchbull looked ready to inspect the school for any mischief, while Mr Bean wandered along happily with his teddy and guide to London. Hope you also had a Happy World Book Day! As can be seen by the pictures below our boys and girls have many favourite characters from their favourite stories.
Also as part of our World Book Day celebrations, pupils took part in our buddy reading system, where older and younger classes came together to share their love of books. It was wonderful to see the children reading together, chatting about their favourite stories. A lovely opportunity for our pupils to connect, learn from each other, and celebrate the joy of reading.
