It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas thanks to Ava-Lilly
Our very talented Ava-Lily had a stall at Mitchelstown Christmas Market in November. This super event took place in Saint George's Arts and Heritage Centre. Ava-Lily was selling some wonderful homemade Christmas decorations. Ava-Lily is a wonderfully talented artist
A MESSAGE FROM AVA-LILY AFTER THE EVENT
I would like to thank everyone that visited my table at Mitchelstown Christmas Market in Saint George's Arts and Heritage Centre today.
Thanks to your support I only had to bring home a few Christmas trees.
I would like to also thank my friends and teachers in Bunscoil na Toirbhirte, for their encouragement and support from advice to purchasing items. It meant a lot to me, and to my uncle Maurice Saich for making the coolest sign.

Huge congratulations to Lauren and Cathal for diving headfirst into the swamp with Fermoy Musical Society’s Shrek the Musical! We wish them both all the luck in the kingdom! Break a leg, you two…. Not literally… you might need them for a dance or two!
Whole-school collaborative achievement
This vibrant and uplifting display showcases our whole-school collaborative art project, coordinated by Ms. Kirby. It features contributions from pupils ranging from Junior Infants to 6th class. The theme of the piece, “Throw Kindness Around Like Confetti,” is beautifully represented through the colorful circles, each uniquely designed by individual girls and boys. These circles burst with creativity, featuring a variety of positive symbols, words, and images, including rainbows, hearts, smiley faces, and uplifting messages such as “Be Kind,” “Proud,” and “Be Positive.” No two pieces of confetti are the same!
The project not only encourages creativity but also reinforces our commitment to kindness and positivity. By involving all pupils, it fosters a sense of community and a shared resonsibility. Each pupils personal message or symbol speads kindness, much like confetti spreads joy at a celebration. We want everyone in Bunscoil to be covered in kindness.
Ms. Kirby’s coordination of this initiative ensures that every pupil has a chance to contribute, making it a truly inclusive and heartwarming endeavor. Thank you Ms Kirby. This display will serve as a daily reminder for pupils and staff to be kind with their words, thoughts and actions.
