BOARD OF MANAGEMENT 2023-2027
The Board Of Management (BOM) is responsible for direct governance of the school. The board is made up of eight people – two parents representatives, two community representatives, two members of our teaching staff (one of which is the principal) and two patrons/diocesan nominees. Each BOM runs for a four year term.
A new Board Of Management was elected in November 2023 and took up office on December 1st.
The Chairperson of the Board Of Management is Patrick Mullins. Along with the Principal, Michael McCarthy the Board also includes Community Nominees, Mary Rea and Willie Kenneally and Patron's Nominee, Fr Tommy Lane. The Parent Nominees are Joshua Tobin and Jacinta O' Mahony Wren and the Staff Nominee is Treasa Kearney.
The staff and pupils of Bunscoil na Toirbhirte would like to record their extraordinary appreciation of this commitment, to the other outgoing members Mairéad O'Brien, Fr Patrick O'Donoghue and Sean Joy.
The new board of management will be in office until November 2027.
