Disney Playmakers
FAI Soccer Training back in Bunscoil again
A big thank you to Park United for hosting a Disney Playmaker’s fun day for our 1st and 2nd girls. Special recognition goes to our girls from the U13 and U12 Park United Teams who recently won their respective leagues and volunteered their time to help out with the coaching. Thanks also to Iain Walsh, Matt Robinson, Dave O’Connor, Mairead O’Brien and Caroline Keating for organizing the playmaker sessions leading up to this fun event.
Dave O’Connor, Ian Walsh and Matt Robbinson all from Park United were very welcome visitors to Bunscoil on Wednesday, 1st May. We were delighted to have them back. Ian delivered some Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious training to our First class girls. These girls will complete 10 exciting training sessions. The sessions are based around some of Disney’s most famous films.
UEFA Disney Playmakers is a new programme that the FAI are running alongside UEFA and Disney. It’s for girls aged 5-8 years, and it invites them to step into the magical world of Disney as they take their first steps on their football journey.
Special thanks to Ms O’Brien and Dave O’ Connor for organising our involvement in this exciting programme. We would also like to thank Derek Coughlan of the FAI for helping us to promote fitness, health, fun and the game in our school.
