We were delighted to see so many of our current and former pupils representing Mitchelstown in the Community Games Swimming recently. Well done to the girls and their team manager Paula.

Bunscoil well represented at the
Munster Minor Schools
Swimming Competition

A huge congratulations to our wonderful swimming teams who represented Bunscoil at the Munster Minor Schools Swimming Competition in the University of Limerick on Sunday 26.01.2025! They gave it their all, performed brilliantly, and made us all so proud.
The girls were especially thrilled to meet Olympic hero Róisín Ní Riain, which made the day an even more memorable experience.
We’d like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Paula Higginbotham for her incredible work in organising our participation and managing the teams, and to Anne Lynch for officiating on the day on behalf of the school. Their dedication is greatly appreciated. A big thank you also goes to our talented swimmers and their parents for making it to the pool despite the challenging weather and to the organisers for holding such a fantastic health promoting event. Well done, everyone! Munster Swimming.
