Thank you so much to our extraordinary Parents Council for giving every girl and boy in Bunscoil a yummy selection box!! This was a very kind gesture and it was very much appreciated. Special mention to parents, Paudie and Deborah for ensuring we got such good value.
Kilshanna Youth Theatre .......
We were delighted to have Kilshanna Youth Theatre with us before Christmas. They very kindly put on a fantastic show (Christmas Carol) for our girls and boys. What a talented group. Well done everyone. The cast who blew everyone away with their performances of 'A Christmas Carol' in Castlelyons Hall and Bunscoil na Toirbhirte.
They staged, accompanied, sang, acted and made the entire process a pleasure for everyone involved. Debuting a number of performers the cast shone from start to finish bringing the traditional favourite tale to a new audience.
Thank you to all who came out to support these young stars who shone so brightly this Christmas.

Buddy the Elf
and what he got up to in Bunscoil!
and what he got up to in Bunscoil!
In 2nd and 3rd class we’ve been very lucky that an Elf came to visit. We named him Buddy and he became a part of our classroom. Buddy did lots of nice things like bringing in muffins to decorate and giving everyone sweets but he also did naughty things like putting toilet paper all over the room. We hope he’s been telling Santa about how good we’ve been (Millie- 2nd class)
Winter Wonderland 2022
We were delighted to have some familiar faces from the CBS back visiting today
