Curious Minds in Bunscoil
Picture
Great news!! Bunscoil na Toirbhirte has achieved an SFI Curious Minds Award. We received the Silver Award after an evaluation of our Log of Evidence. Special thanks to Ms O’Gorman for submitting our entry to the SFI Curious Minds Team. Our school provided evidence of children's engagement with STEM in the following areas:
*Science
*Technology
*Engineering
*Maths
*STEM Showcase

We received the following feedback:
“Well done Bunscoil na Toirbhirte! All the learners and staff are doing fantastic work and it is exciting to see that the whole school were actively involved in many different types of STEM activity. Your use of technology in so many classes really stood out - everything from coding, to using Kahoot, SeeSaw, learning phonics and cyber safety, really impressive! I can also see that 6th class did an amazing job presenting their fermentation project to the rest of the school. You should all be very proud of yourselves. Keep up the great work!”
Well done to our girls and boys and staff. Special thanks to Ms O’Gorman.
