cycle against suicide- our day to celebrate life

There was enormous excitement in Mitchelstown last Friday as our friends and neighbours in Presentation Secondary School prepared to host the Cycle Against Suicide for their lunch stop. We all donned our brightest colours and came out to take part in the wonderful atmosphere and to support the group of over 200 cyclists and their supporters who had departed from Mallow earlier that morning. Many of the group had been on the road since Saturday April 27th when they left Dublin and will complete their journey today when they return back to Dublin, Monday May 6th.

Thanks to our very own Mr Clancy who joined the group for the cycle from Mallow to Mitchelstown and who represented all our pupils and staff at this event.
Well done to everyone in Presentation Secondary for hosting such an important group. It was an afternoon we'll remember for a long time and we thank you for inviting us to share in the experience.
