Great Fun- Staff versus 6th class match
The eagerly anticipated 6th class (The Sharp Shooters) versus staff (The Bunscoil Bouncers) basketball match took place during the last week of school. The girls and staff will look back fondly on this day of fun.
After much hype, excitement and declarations of superiority by both sides over the last week, the match did not disappoint the large crowd in attendance. 6th class enjoyed home advantage and the cheering of their loyal and vocal supporters! It was a close match that saw The Bunscoil Bouncers back up their promises of victor, as they just about claimed the bragging rights! The end of the game saw a robust challenge put to the staff by a determined 5th class who claimed they will “trash” the staff next year!
..... In other news, Michael Jordan will be teaching in Bunscoil next year!!! Well done to all involved.

Our Senior Infant Boys and 6th Class Girls will move on to their new schools in September. On Friday 23.06.2023, we held a Graduation Ceremony for Senior Infant Boys to thank them for their time spent in Bunscoil na Toirbhirte. They are a wonderful group of boys. They enjoyed watching a slide show of photos, were presented with certificates and all Senior Infants celebrated by having a pizza party. Special thanks to their teachers, Ms Walsh, Ms Linehan, Ms Kirby and Ms Clifford, for teaching the boys this year.
