5th Class Visit Griston Bog - March 2013
On a damp March day, 5th Class set off to visit the outdoor classroom at Griston bog. We were very lucky with the weather. There was much to be discovered there from frog spawn, a wide variety of birds and all sorts of plants and wildlife. We walked on the new boardwalk carrying out various activities. We learned and observed different types of birds, discovered how a bog is made (by looking at Spagnum moss, measured the depth of the bog and looked at the wildlife. It was a great day with plenty of observations! Look at the photos below.
