Learning but having fun at the same time!
International Diabetic Awareness Day was on Tuesday 14.11.2023. 1st Class spent the week learning about the condition, raising awareness to support those we know with Diabetes.
They also completed the blue balloon challenge where each child had to mind a balloon for a full school day while completing all school activities! This task showed the girls how it feels to have to monitor your bloods if you are a diabetic.
Thanks to Ms Keating for bringing the cupcakes with the symbol for Diabetic Awareness Month. The cupcakes were in celebration of the huge effort made by the girls.
