The end of the story - Fabulous Frames
Ms Bailey’s 6th class Junior Entrepreneurs have been very busy preparing their Fabulous Frames orders and would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who supported their small business, 'Fabulous Frames'. They had a busy yet enjoyable time fulfilling all 115 orders!
Over the past month, 6th class have been busy preparing for their Dragons Den event held on Tuesday, February 20th.
Five groups—Bliss Baths, Lush Candles, Lush Cosmetics, Fabulous Frames, and Retro Sweets presented their business ideas. Each team showcased remarkable creativity and dedication in front of our judges: Mr. McCarthy, Ms. Lambe, and Mr. Ben Lynch. The judges were blown away by the quality of the presentations.
Huge congratulations to Fabulous Frames who were chosen as the 'Big Idea'. The class will now embark on the exciting journey of designing, marketing, and selling personalised frames. We can't wait to see their creations, so stay tuned for updates!
Well done to all the girls for their tremendous effort in developing their business ideas.
A heartfelt thank you also goes to Mr. Ben Lynch for his invaluable support and guidance during the event. His time, expertise, and encouragement played a crucial role in making the day a memorable one for all. Special thanks to Ms Bailey for giving the girls the wonderful opportunity of taking part in the JEP.

Ms Bailey and 6th class would like to express a heartfelt thank you for the incredible support our school community has shown this year. As you all know we began selling hot chocolate cones to raise money towards our Junior Entrepreneur project. We had hoped to sell approximately 150 hot chocolate cones. Never in our wildest dreams did we expect the level of support that was shown, selling 370 hot chocolate cones.
Your generosity has been nothing short of amazing, and we couldn't be more grateful. Whether you're a parent, aunt, uncle, grandparent, member of staff or pupil, we sincerely thank you all.
A special shout-out also to Mr. McCarthy for his unwavering belief in us. Our hot chocolate journey has been a hands-on learning experience. We've delved into pricing strategies, budgeting, production, orders, and marketing, gaining experience that goes far beyond any school book.
So, what is next for our Junior Entrepreneurs, next month we hope to meet and interview a number of local entrepreneurs. In December we will then create a number of products which will be presented to our Dragons Den, where the winning idea will then become our official Junior Entrepreneur project for 2024.
To everyone who purchased our hot chocolate cones – you're not just supporters; you're our partners in this adventure. We appreciate each and every one of you. Thank you and Go Raibh míle maith agaibh. We hope you enjoy the Late Late Toy Show!!!!!
