Pancake Tuesday
Some of us made pancakes in school today. This is the recipe. Now you can make them too!

125g flour
A pinch of salt
1 egg
300ml milk
Butter for frying

Method:
- Sieve flour and salt into a bowl
- Make a well in the centre of the flour, break in the eggs and add about a third of the milk. Beat well, gradually pouring in the rest of the milk and drawing in the flour, to make a smooth batter.
- Pour the batter into a jug and allow to stand for about 30 minutes. (We had to skip this step in school)
- Brush a frying pan with butter. When the pan is hot pour a thin layer of batter onto the pan.
- Fry until golden brown. Flip the pancake and fry until the other side is brown too.
- Fill your pancakes with your favourite fruit or sauce.
