Reading Buddies 2022-2023
TY student meeting their reading buddies in the Bunscoil. They will be mentoring students over the coming Fridays, reading for fun and helping them with their literacy skills! Future teachers passing on knowledge and skills to some wonderful primary students, they are a credit to the school #literacy #reading
Our girls had a wonderful time today 23.09.2022 practicing their reading with the Transition Years from the Presentation Secondary School, Mitchelstown. The Transition Years were absolutely fantastic and so kind to our girls. There were many smiles of excitement everywhere. We were particularly delighted to welcome back some familiar faces!!! We look forward to many weeks of reading with our new buddies, and with this help, our reading is sure to go from strength to strength. Thank you to our friends in the Presentation Secondary School for organising this wonderful opportunity for our girls.
