Sciath na scoil football final 2019

Our very talented girls football team took part in their first ever Scaith na Scoil football final in October, 2019. In a game that was incredibly close and of a very high standard, our girls lost by a single point. The gave their all and battled right to the end. Although they were extremely disappointed to lose the game, they did our school proud in the manner of their defeat when they put on a brave face, fought back the tears and congratulated Kilworth NS on their win. They listened respectfully to the Captain of Kilworth NS speech. The Scaith na Scol organisers went out of their way to commend mentors of our team on this sportswomanship. Well done to our girls, we are so proud of you. Special thanks to everyone who assisted the girls in any way, especially the selectors/trainers, Ms O’Brien and Mr  Sheahan. Congratulations to Kilworth NS on their win. They had a very skillful team.
