Super 16!
Bunscoil's got Talent!!

On the 27th and 28th, the girls from 5th and 6th took to the stage in the Halla to wow the audience with their amazing talents. They had been planning and rehearsing for weeks, after school as part of the Choir and Drama group. Special thanks must go to the following, without whom the show would not have taken place: -
  • the girls themselves for their talent and dedication, script writing, choreography and prop making
  • the teachers who were involved in producing the various acts- Ms Hyland, Ms Condon, Mr Wallace, Ms Watson, Ms Kearney, Ms Walsh, Ms Shinnick, Ms Linehan, Ms Hayes-Brennan, Mr Ó' Cinnéide, Ms Cahill, Mr Clancy, Ms O'Sullivan and Ms O'Callaghan
  • Paul and Justin Finn who were absolute professionals at all times, taking over sound and lighting for the shows
  • the Parents' Council for organising the raffle and the all-important tuck shop!
  • all the parents who bought tickets and donated raffle prizes
  • the members of Junior Comhaltas who participated in the show on both nights
  • Bridie McGrath for organising ticket sales and Billy and Verling for setting up the halla
  • the girls in 1st and 2nd class, along with their teachers Ms O'Dwyer, Ms Coughlan and Ms Lambe for providing the interval act on Wednesday night
  • the girls in 3rd and 4th class, with their teachers Ms O'Brien, Ms Doyle and Ms Walsh for entertaining us during the interval on Thursday night
Finally, a very very special thank you must go to Ms Hayes-Brennan, Ms Watson, Mr Wallace and Mr O'Cinnéide who provided live music for the shows. They really are an amazingly talented group and we are so lucky to have had them accompany the girls.
Super 16 will be remembered for years to come by the children. Everyone had an opportunity to play a part and the memories will stay with all of us.

Here's a small snapshot of the shows...!! We hope to see you all again next year.....!!!!!
