Variety Show 2013

On the 20th and 21st March the Choir and Drama Group of Bunscoil na Toirbhirte performed in a Variety Show called 'Unlucky 2013'. The pupils were from 5th and 6th class and there were guest performances from 1st and 2nd class on Wednesday and 3rd and 4th class on Thursday. The show consisted of a school sketch where the pupils were afraid to say 13 until the Cigire arrives, an alternative Rapunzel, two old ladies sketch, our very own version of 'The Voice of Ireland', a modern dance, a Barbie Monologue, an excerpt from Oliver, solo dancing and singing performances, a ballad group, traditional Irish music, ouchoruses with songs from Annie and Oliver and much more. Both audiences and performers enjoyed the experience. Thanks to all involved including the teachers and musicians. Musical accompaniment was provided by Ms Hayes and Ms Watson. Look at some photos below.
